"spent a couple of days here over the bank holiday weekend , very welcoming owner, lovely location and short walk to tintagel, already looking to book next year"
Miss charlotte langdon, bedfordshire - August 2017
"We had a lovely stay at the Penallick in July, 2017. We had the family room, near the back of the B&B. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us and there was a private bathroom in our room as well. Our entire weekend there was fog, so we couldn't really see the coast from our room, but we did walk down there in the evening. Paul gave us a recommendation for dinner in Tintagel that night as well. The next day we drove over to Tintagel Castle to hike the grounds there. We did like having WiFi for our stay as well, having a teenage kid with, it was helpful at the end of our day! Would absolutely recommend this B&B if you're looking to stay in the area."
Mr & Mrs Mammoser, Chicago, USA - August 2017
"April 2016. Really enjoyed my stay here. Extremely welcoming. Have already recommended to friends and would love to visit again."
Miss Karen ashworth , Kent - August 2017
"great room comfy bed friendly staff very good breakfast ideal location add up to a perfect holiday. Would book again if hoidaying in the area"
Mr andrew gibbons, gloucester - June 2016
"Last week my dog and I spent a night in this nice B&B located at a marvellous spot. Indeed, at a few minutes walking distance from the Coastal Path and the ocean. The owner, Paul, is a perfect host and makes you feel really welcome. He also cooks a very good breakfast. The B&B has a very welcoming atmosphere, is clean and comfortable. My room had a perfect new bathroom, a good heating system and was quiet. On top of that a very good value for money. So highly recommended and I will be back again. "
Mrs Hilda, Holland - April 2016
"Had an amazing visit and stay here, Paul the owner couldn't do enough for you and he cooks a mean breakfast which kept me going all day when out walking. I was upgraded to a double room on arrival which had a stunning seaview and was very clean and comfortable. My favourite walk was from the b and b to Port Isacc, the views and coastline was stunning! Will be back for more adventures here soon I hope. I would highly recommend the Penalick to anyone. Thanks for everything Paul."
Miss Michelle Kilshaw Yates, Liverpool - March 2016
"You couldn't hope for a better place to stay for the money, Excellent breakfast and service, sea views, right on the coast path, easy short walk to a bus stop, free onsite parking, towels changed daily, I would be happy to stay here again. "
Mr Andy Booth, Cumbria - October 2015
"A decent looking B and B with a warm welcome, room was nice and clean with good facilities with breakfast in the morning that was more than adequate. It would be difficult to find a better situated B and B in all of Cornwall. Coastal path is a 2 minute walk that will reward you with stunning sunsets, coastal views and maybe a peregrine falcon like it did me. Tintagel is probably less than a five minute drive and a late evening visit to the port William pub at Trebarwith strand is a must, watching the sun go down with a pint of ale was a great memory. Not surprising that people have said that they will return and me being one of them."
Mr xenon, Birmingham - October 2015
"Just returned from our second visit to the Pennalick. A lovely welcome, comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and wonderful location. Trebarwith beach is our favourite, but equally beautiful is Bossiney Just the other side of Tintagel. Quality family time. Thanks Paul. "
Mr & Mrs Webb, Portsmouth - October 2015

"The Penallick Hotel B&B is in a wonderful location with beautiful views over-looking the Atlantic Ocean and with Tintagel and the lovely sandy beach of Trebarwith Strand both within easy walking distance. You will be made to feel very welcome by Paul the Proprietor who is very friendly and helpful. Paul provides and serves a good hearty English breakfast and has other options and additions for breakfast. This was my 3rd visit to the Penallick and I shall definitely be returning and looking forward to my stay and seeing Paul again."
Mr Ian Morris, Southampton - February 2015

Yours Carl and julie bilboe"
Mr Carl bilboe, Kidderminster - April 2014
"Enjoyed our stay very much at Penallick, even though it was under construction. Paul the gentleman who wellcomed us on the Saturday was very friendly and was new to the hotel and area, but could not do enough for us. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean with a bale of towels for us for a shower. The shower was also very good a nice touch with minature shampoos and body lotions in the shower room. Also tea, coffee and biscuits in our room. Very nice cooked breakfast with cereal, fresh orange juice and toast, as much as you could eat, and as much tea & coffee as you could drink. I do not know what the gentleman was complaining about regarding the lane being rough and could not get his car down if a citroen C1 can get down any car can get down. The only complaint we had we found two empty larger cans behind the cushion under the bedside table obviously the cleaner is not doing a thorough job. But overall a great stay what do people want for the money. Great value."
Mrs Anne Black, Double Room with ensuite shower room - February 2014
